Moving your household is stressful and a lot of work. If you are lucky, you will have time to make all the plans, get things packed, and find a truck or other way to get everything moved to your new home. Of course, it doesn’t always go this way. You may not have the time, or you may realize that it is too much work for you and your family. Luckily, Sellers Moving & Storage can take care of things for you. Here are just a few of the different services we provide:
Packing
As professional movers, we know how to pack your items so they will not incur any damage during the move. We have all the necessary packing equipment, such as:
- boxes of all sizes
- paper for wrapping
- tape
- markers
- crates for fragile items
- blankets for wrapping
- baggies for small items
You won’t have to worry about running to the store multiple times when you run out of different supplies.
Our packers will make two copies of a list of the items they put into each box or container. One copy is placed in a plastic cover and attached to the cardboard, and the other one will be for you.
Storage
You may need to store your belongings while waiting for your new place to be empty and ready for you. Sellers Moving & Storage can provide this storage. It is possible to use a storage facility that is between your old place and the new one. If you are moving long-distance, have everything moved into a unit where you will have access to it before you can complete the move.
Another option for storage is moving pods. These are large containers that will be filled with your belongings at the old house and then moved to your new place. It gives you time to transfer your stuff into the new home and unpack in an orderly fashion.
Moving
Using a large truck for the actual moving of your stuff makes things much more manageable. Our movers will carefully move your furniture, boxes, and other belongings into the moving truck and drive it all to the new place. If you have too many belongings for one truckload, we can provide additional vehicles to get it all done in one trip.
Unpacking
Sellers Moving & Storage will take everything off the truck once it gets to the new location. You can choose to have them put it all in a couple of rooms or have them move everything into the exact place. We can also unpack the boxes for you.
